Milpitas Electric started the way most good things do — with one person who decided to do things right.

Don Davis Sr. founded this company in 2007 with a straightforward conviction: that commercial electrical work done with integrity, consistency, and genuine care for the client would always win over in the long run. No shortcuts. No hand-offs to crews you've never met. No excuses when something comes up on the job.

Nearly two decades later, that conviction is still the operating principle of every project we take on.

What being family-owned means in practice is simple: when you call Milpitas Electric, you reach the people who show up on your job site. When something changes mid-project, you're not navigating a phone tree or waiting on a project manager to relay a message. You're talking directly to the people who care most about getting it right — because their name is on every job they do.

Most of our work comes from referrals. GCs and property managers who have worked with us for years bring us into new projects because they know what they're getting. That track record, built one project at a time for almost 20 years, is the most honest thing we can say about who we are.
